Project Overview

Bouncy — The New Era of Music

Bouncy enabled a unique experience of music discovery. Our vision was that our users can easily and intuitively expand their musical repertoire thanks to other people and the respective music communities. We enabled people to find the right songs, artists and albums based on their interests, current needs and moods. No more endless scrolling through playlists.

Objective

Revolutionize the music discovery landscape by offering users a seamless platform to diversify their music collection, tailored to their interests, cravings, and vibes.

My Role/Responsibilities

I was the head of everything-design — creative & art director, interaction designer and graphic designer.
The brand identity (logotype, business cards, style guides, etc) is my work as well as the different end user client applications (interaction design).

User Interface

The main screen featured a vertical swipe interface where users could see what songs their friends and others were currently listening to. From there, they could react to the song, add it to their playlist, and explore other profiles where they could view people's playlists, favorite songs, artists, and more.

Project status

Bouncy was acquired!

As a team, we developed an awesome product for social music discovery, enjoying every moment of the process. Securing a seed investment in 2020, Bouncy was successfully acquired in 2022.
